Will I have to ask my boss to spend 199 for both a router + a L2 switch + a 元 switch? Or does the $199 license give access to a list of Cisco devices, to which you can freely download images for?Īny help is appreciated, since you can probably hear I'm a bit new to all of this. I am however, at a bit of a loss when I comes to obtaining Cisco images for the routers/switches. When I got back to my workplace, and talked to my boss, he was very into the idea of me setting up a server to run GNS3, so I could practice before my final period in school. I was recommended GNS3 to emulate the projects we have to do for our final exam, and after toying around with it for a while, the program seems to perfectly fit my needs.
